TNG includes a model for galaxy formation physics solving the coupled evolution of dark matter, cosmic gas, luminous stars, and supermassive black holes. Each of the flagship runs—TNG50, TNG100, andTNG300—are accompanied by halo/subhalo catalogs, merger trees, lower-resolution and dark-matter only counterparts, all available with 100 snapshots. ## Files Currently snapshots 0 and 99 and corresponding subfind files for TNG50-4 and TNG300-1 can be found in IATE storage at /mnt/simulations/ilustris/TNG50-4 /mnt/simulations/ilustris/TNG300-1 respectively. ## Reference TNG50 presentation: Pillepich et al. 2019 (https://arxiv.org/abs/1902.05553) Nelson et al. 2019 (https://arxiv.org/abs/1902.05554) TNG100 and TNG300 presentation: Springel et al. 2018 (https://academic.oup.com/mnras/article/475/1/676/4772886) Pillepich et al. 2018 (https://academic.oup.com/mnras/article/475/1/648/4683271) Naiman et al. 2018 (https://academic.oup.com/mnras/article/475/1/648/4683271) Nelson et al. 2018a (https://arxiv.org/abs/1707.03395) Marinacci et al. 2018 (https://academic.oup.com/mnras/article/480/4/5113/5076046) ## Tutorial Python, IDL libraries to read snapshots and subfind files can be downloaded from https://www.tng-project.org/data/docs/scripts/
